Here are some tips on how to run a fast lap of The TAN Track

1. Train for it – make sure you include Hill reps in your training program and do some practice runs around the Tan

2. Visualise yourself running the course before you set out to run it fast

3. Go out strong and attack the hill but don’t absolutely smash yourself on the hill

4. Run off the top of hill and regain your composure and pace through the next undulating section around to the Shrine

5. Continue to build and run hard down the long downhill section and into the flat

6. Take it home in the last 500m flat section by kicking with everything you’ve got left
